We are preparing Ground Control, an agriculture and climate action camp
that will happen in the Netherlands at the beginning of the summer. It
is high time to mobilise people and groups to make this camp memorable !

*Ground Control - Agriculture & Climate Action Camp*
*Amsterdam area, 1st - 8th of July 2015*

This summer we will break new ground for action ! During a weeklong camp
near Amsterdam we will get together to stimulate a different
agricultural system and counteract climate change.

Since the environmental question entered the political debate, countless
quick fixes have been developed to deal with some of the symptoms of
climate change, leaving its root causes untouched. In December the
"world leaders" will meet in Paris for COP21 ; yet another international
climate summit after the previous failures. Meanwhile, the city of
Amsterdam is planning to expand the activity in its port, which is the
second largest throughput of coal in Europe and hosts some of the
world's most polluting companies.

The stakes are too high for us to remain silent observers in this game :
we refuse to let corporate interests gain new ground. This time, we will
play by our rules.
Join Ground Control for an inspiring week of fun and action. We aim for ..

*Convergence of people and networks*
Together, we want to engage in open discussions and constructive
activities. Ground control welcomes bookworms and practical people -
from the most experienced to the newcomers in the field. It offers space
to make meaningful connections, and prepare for (future) struggles.

*Effective change : let's practice together*
Let's shape our camp the way we want to shape our world.
Expect a flexible and varied programme of presentations, workshops,
trainings and actions, in which everyone's participation is encouraged !

*Resistance and action*
Bring your creativity, ideas, friends, and motivation. We need to join
forces to stop the large polluters. It is time to take a stand and
become part of an alternative system based on justness and solidarity.

Nous préparons Ground Control, un camp d'action agriculture et climat
qui aura lieu aux Pays-Bas au début de l'été. Il est grand temps de
mobiliser groupes et individu-e-s pour faire de ce camp un événement
mémorable ! Voulez-vous nous donner un coup de main en passant le mot
dans vos réseaux et autour de vous ? Pour cela, vous pouvez partager ce

Cet été, nous passons à l'action ! Nous nous rassemblerons et camperons
toute une semaine près d'Amsterdam pour encourager un système agricole
différent et contrer le changement climatique.

Depuis que la question environnementale est entrée dans le débat
politique, d'innombrables fausses solutions ont été développées pour
faire face à certains des symptômes du changement climatique, sans que
l'on sérieusement s'attaque à ses racines. En décembre, les « leaders
mondiaux » se rencontreront à Paris pour la COP21, un sommet climatique
de plus après les échecs précédents. Pendant ce temps-là, la ville
d'Amsterdam prévoit d'étendre les activités de son port. Il s'agit
pourtant du 2ème mondial en matière de flux de charbon et héberge des
entreprises parmi les plus polluantes du monde.
Les enjeux sont trop élevés pour que nous nous contentions d'observer
silencieusement : nous refusons de laisser les intérêts commerciaux
gagner encore plus de terrain. Cette fois, nous jouerons avec nos
propres règles du jeu.

Rejoignez Ground Control pour une semaine d'action, d'inspiration et de
bonne humeur. Nos objectifs sont :

*La convergence d'individu-e-s et de réseaux*
Ensemble, engageons-nous dans des discussions ouvertes et activités
constructives. Ground Control accueille aussi bien les ra-tt-es de
bibliothèque que les bricoleuses et bricoleurs, des personnes les plus
expérimentées aux nouvelles et nouveaux dans le domaine. Le camp offre
un espace pour créer des liens et préparer luttes et chantiers.

*Un vrai changement, ensemble*
Faisons de notre camp un exemple de ce que nous voulons accomplir à plus
grande échelle. Un programme flexible et varié de présentations,
ateliers ou encore entraînements à l'action se prépare. La participation
de chacun-e est vivement encouragée !

*Résistance et action*
Venez avec votre créativité, vos ami-e-s et toute votre motivation ! Nous
devons unir nos forces pour arrêter les grands pollueurs. Il est temps
de prendre position et de faire partie d'un système alternatif basé sur
la justice et la solidarité.

Hallo allemaal,

We zijn druk bezig met de voorbereidingen voor Ground Control, een
landbouw- en klimaatactiekamp begin juli in de buurt van Amsterdam. Het
is de hoogte tijd informatie over het kamp te verspreiden en zoveel
mogelijk mensen te mobiliseren om van dit kamp een succes te maken !
Hopelijk kun jij helpen door dit bericht binnen je netwerken te
verspreiden. Bij deze email vind je een tekst over het kamp en de
digitale versie van de flyer. Er is een facebookpagina voor het kamp
aangemaakt die je kunt liken als je op facebook zit. Ook zijn er
papieren flyers en posters die je zou kunnen helpen verspreiden.
Schroom niet contact op te nemen als je vragen hebt of zou willen
helpen. Veel dank en hopelijk zien we jou begin juli ook in het kamp.

*1 tot en met 8 juli in de buurt van Amsterdam*

Deze zomer zorgen we voor een goede voedingsbodem voor actie ! In een
actiekamp werken we een week lang aan een ander landbouwsysteem en
campagnes tegen klimaatverandering.

Al decennia vinden er internationale toppen plaats om iets te doen aan
milieuvervuiling en klimaatverandering. Dit resulteert tot nu toe alleen
in schijnoplossingen. De onderliggende problemen worden niet aangepakt.
Hoewel alle voorgaande bijeenkomsten zo goed als niets hebben
opgeleverd, zullen in december de zogenaamde "wereldleiders" in Parijs
bijeenkomen voor weer een VN-klimaattop ; COP21. Ondertussen is de
gemeente Amsterdam van plan de activiteiten in haar haven te laten
groeien, terwijl het al de op één na grootste kolenoverslag van Europa
en vele andere zwaar vervuilende bedrijven herbergt.

We kunnen niet stil aan de zijlijn blijven aanzien hoe zij hun spelletje
spelen. We gaan meespelen, maar dan wel met onze eigen spelregels.

We nodigen alle deelnemers uit ideeën, contacten en ervaringen uit te
wisselen, discussies aan te gaan en activiteiten te ontplooien. Ground
Control is voor jong en oud, voor ervaren activisten en nieuw
geïnteresseerden, voor boekenwurmen en aanpakkers. Samen gaan we plannen
smeden voor (toekomstige) campagnes.

Laten we het kamp net zo vormgeven als we zouden willen doen met onze
wereld.
Verwacht een flexibel en gevarieerd programma met presentaties,
workshops, trainingen en acties waarbij ieders deelname wordt aangemoedigd.

Neem je creativiteit, ideeën, vrienden en motivatie mee. We hebben het
allemaal nodig om de grote vervuilers te kunnen stoppen. Het is tijd om
kleur te bekennen en actief deel te nemen aan een alternatieve
maatschappij die gebaseerd is op gerechtigheid en solidariteit.
