Northern Sweden is a training ground for war
Europe's largest overland military test range is called the North European Aerospace Test-range (NEAT) and is situated in the north of Sweden. The area is used for testing missiles, combat aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles. In the summer of 2010, U.S. Air Forces stationed in Europe used it practice dropping bombs, and in 2009, NATO's Response Force used the area for their largest air exercise that year.
